There is increasing market demand for an oil with the new American API CK-4 specification as well as with the new Volvo VDS-4.5 specification. The API CK-4 specification surpasses the performance criteria of API CH-4, CI-4, CI-4 Plus and CJ-4, and can also be used where these specifications are prescribed. The Volvo VDS-4.5 specification is closely linked to this API CK-4. The VDS-4.5 is backwards compatible with older Volvo specifications such as VDS-4 and VDS-3. Maxol Lubricants is adding a new engine oil to its range with the API CK-4 as well as the Volvo VDS-4.5 specification. The new product will be called TOR TRUCK FLEET LSP 10W/30. This fuel economy Heavy Duty engine oil is formulated with unique low SAPS high performance additives in combination with special selected base oils. This multigrade engine oil fulfills the latest requirements of OEM's for use in high speed four stroke diesel engines of the latest models.
