Maxol supports GAA fundraiser in aid of The Simon Community
On Tuesday, July 24 a unique all Ireland challenge will be undertaken by 7 members of the GAA Club Tyrone Gales where they will attempt to take a penalty kick in all 32 Counties in 4 days. '32-32- 32' is a distinctive fundraising initiative in aid of the Simon Communities throughout Ireland. The organisers of the '32-32-32' challenge are asking every GAA club in Ireland to donate €32 which will go directly to the Simon Community.
Maxol is a proud sponsor of 32-32-32, providing all motor fuel to help transport the players across the country throughout the four days. The players have also selected Maxol service stations to act as pit stops during their journey. At each of the selected stations the players will have the chance to top up their fuel supply and enjoy a snack to give them an added energy boost sp they are ready to face the road ahead en route to the next GAA club.
Speaking about this unique initiative Maxol Brand Development Manager, Fergal Harrington, commented, "2012 is the second year running we have supported The Simon Community as our nominated charity partner. We were keen to get behind the players and one of the obvious ways in which we could help was to supply the fuel they needed to travel from county to county and club to club with ease. We were also delighted that the lads will be stopping at Maxol Stations along the way as they take time out and recharge their batteries.''
