Local Man Scoops Maxol Award

LOCAL MAN SCOOPS MAXOL AWARD

Anthony McDonald of Exorna Filling Station, Castlerock has been named runner up in the Employee of the Year award scheme by Maxol.

The award, which is part of Maxol's Retail Excellence Award Scheme, promotes and rewards excellence in retail standards and customer care throughout its network of service stations.

Ronnie Downey, Area Manager of Maxol, said: "This award was first introduced in 2000 to reward our filling station staff who continually work hard to maintain the high standards on Maxol forecourts. Anthony won this award against stiff competition from other Maxol service station employees across Northern Ireland and I would like to thank him personally for his commitment to the company."

Commenting on winning Anthony said: "It is wonderful to win this award. We all take great pride in providing a prompt, efficient service to our customers and it is great to be recognised in this way."

As runner up in the Maxol Filling Station Sales Assistant Employee of the Year award scheme, Anthony received a cash prize of £250.
