Maxol Announces Retail Excellence Award Winners

Maxol Announces Retail Excellence Award Winners

Maxol has announced the winning staff teams in its Retail Excellence Award Scheme, a scheme which promotes and rewards excellence in retail standards and customer care throughout its network of service stations.

Organised annually by Maxol, the scheme ensures that service stations uphold the high standards expected by today’s motorist and guarantees that customers continue to get the best levels of service and amenities when they step onto a Maxol forecourt. Stations are divided into three categories according to size and location.

Brian Donaldson, General Manager, Marketing and Retail of the Maxol Group, said: "Maxol is committed to maintaining the highest standards in the service we offer our customers, the variety of products available in our shops and the amenities/tidiness of our forecourts. These awards recognise the hard work and dedication of staff at our service stations and aim to reward them for their achievement.

The following winners were announced at a presentation held at the Templeton Hotel:-

Detailed, site inspections are carried out by Maxol management at participating stations. Service stations are divided into three league tables, corresponding to their size. In addition an independent agency conducts mystery motorist visits to observe and assess on the quality of service offered to the customer.

Graham Johnston, Licensee of Cadogan Service Station, Lisburn Road, Belfast, said: "I am pleased to have won this award, it not only indicates the high standards we maintain on our forecourt but the commitment of our staff. I would personally like to thank all of them for their hard work."

Winners of Maxol's Retail Excellence Award Scheme receive a cash prize which is split amongst the service station staff members. In addition, each staff member who received 100% in a mystery motorist visit was rewarded with a £25 gift voucher.
