Maxol Goes Green

MAXOL GOES GREEN

Maxol today (Friday 20 April) announced the launch of a new ‘greener’ fuel for Northern Ireland’s motorists.

The new fuel which is called Maxol Greener Unleaded replaces the standard EN228 Unleaded (unleaded 95 octane) and contains up to 66% less of the fuel sulphur content of normal unleaded petrol. The result is lower vehicle emissions and more importantly less damage to the environment.

Brian Donaldson, Group Marketing Manger for Maxol said: “Maxol again is delighted to be one of the forerunners in introducing cleaner fuels to the Northern Ireland motorist. As one of the leading petrol retailers in Northern Ireland we are committed to supplying our customers with an enhanced range of products which allow for more environmentally friendly motoring.

"Also because there is no additional cost for the new Greener Unleaded product the motorist can enjoy a win win situation.” he continued.

Maxol is one of the first companies in Northern Ireland to provide this enhanced product which will be priced in line with unleaded petrol. Greener Unleaded will be made available through Maxol’s entire network of over 85 sites in the province over the coming weeks.
