Antrim-based Maxol Townparks Service Station and SPAR store has been named winner of Forecourt Trader's Best Main Route Service Station award, beating off competition from retailers across the UK. Managed by licensees Charlie and Rhonda Henderson, the Maxol Townparks Service Station won the award on the strength of its customer service and variety in its offering.
Brian Donaldson, General Manager, Marketing and Retail of the Maxol Group, commented: "We are delighted to congratulate Charlie and Rhonda Henderson on winning this prestigious award. This follows on from a £2m investment made in the service station by Maxol in 2008, and is testament to our licensee's efforts in delivering great customer service and value under the Maxol and SPAR brands.
The awards, run by Forecourt Trader, were held on 24th September at The Park Lane Hilton in London.
