On Friday 19th August, Maxol celebrated in style with its 2015 winning TLC Retailers.
On this occasion, Belfast was the chosen destination to hold the award winner’s celebratory evening. The group of 39 Maxol Retailers, partners and management enjoyed a luxury overnight stay in the 4 star Malmaison Hotel, a private “Dine around Deanes” restaurant tour and a chance to visit the Titanic centre on Saturday morning.
The Malmaison Hotel, once a seed warehouse, has been fashionably converted into one of the swankiest hotels in Belfast and is located just a few minutes from Victoria shopping centre & Titanic Quarter. On Arrival to Malmaison, the evening began with a celebratory drink for our guests before embarking on the Dine around Deanes experience.
Dine around Deanes is a unique opportunity to sample the delights of each of the Deanes Restaurants by Michael Deane, the only chef in Ireland to hold a Michelin star for over 12 years. The event was created in 2013 to mark Belfast Restaurant Week but, so phenomenal has been the demand, that it's now become a regular Deane’s event. We were delighted to host a private booking for our winners, who travelled on a Double Decker Bus from Deane and Decano in South Belfast, via Deanes at Queens, to the city centre restaurants, Deanes in Howard Street & Deanes Deli Bistro & VIN Café. The group enjoyed every course, the cocktails and the dancing that followed.
Once again we would like to congratulate all the TLC winners, who achieved the highest scores in Maxol & Mystery shopper inspection results, customer feedback and went to great lengths to raise money for our then charity partner Make-A-Wish, some even jumped out of planes!
