Local Oil Distributor Strikes Gold

LOCAL OIL DISTRIBUTOR STRIKES GOLD

Local company Convery Oil has been named Distributor of the Year for 2003 by Maxol Oil Ltd.

The distribution company, which is based in Kilrea, Derry won the award against stiff competition from other Maxol distributors across the island of Ireland for achieving the highest volume sales. As part of the award Eamon was presented with a £1,000 cheque from Kevin Paterson, Commercial Sales Manager of Maxol and a place on a Maxol holiday to Marbella in Spain.

Established in 1964, by John Convery it is very much a family owned concern with John’s son Eamon now taking the lead role in developing the business and serving customers in the Co. Derry South West Antrim and East Tyrone regions.

Eamon Convery said: “It is wonderful to receive this accolade. As a company we take great pride in providing a prompt, efficient service to all our customers and this award proves that this ethos is working. I would personally like to thank everyone who has supported us over the years.”

Kevin Paterson, Commercial Sales Manager, Maxol said: “This award forms part of Maxol’s authorised distributor incentive scheme and exists to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of distributors throughout our network. I would like to congratulate Eamon, his family and their team for achieving the high standards required to receive this award.”
