Maxol Lubricants Announces Sponsorship of MacHale Rally Teams

Rally driving supremo Austin MacHale has agreed a sponsorship deal with Maxol Lubricants Ltd. for the forth-coming season. The sponsorship deal will see the Maxol Lubricants brand carried on Austin’s Ford Focus WRC03.  In addition, the Agip Lubricants branding will be carried on Aaron MacHale’s Mitsubishi Lancer for the remaining rounds of the Pirelli Irish Tarmac Championship.

Both Austin and Aaron McHale will take part in the Circuit of Ireland Rally in early April.  Austin will then set his sights on the British Rally Championship beginning on 24th April 2004.  Commenting on the sponsorship deal Pat Phelan, General Manager, Maxol Lubricants Ltd. said:

“We are delighted to be associated with both Austin and Aaron McHale’s teams in what we believe is an ideal sponsorship for Maxol Lubricants and Agip.  Agip has already achieved tremendous status globally through Motor Racing and this sponsorship will help us create further awareness of the brand here in Ireland. We would like to wish both teams every success for the coming season”.

Maxol Lubricants, an independent subsidiary of Maxol Ltd., is sole Irish agent for Agip and supplies a range of Automotive Oils nationwide from its Dublin and Belfast offices.  Products offered to the Irish market include an extensive range of synthetic and semi synthetic oils, as well as gear oils and transmission fluids.
