Reporting to our Head of Retail Development, the Group Projects Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of our extensive capital development programme across the island of Ireland, working with our existing in-house team and external property development specialists.
You must be capable of controlling and co-ordinating a geographically dispersed programme of site development projects at different stages of the project lifecycle and have a good knowledge of the planning systems in Ireland and all applicable regulations related to project delivery in our industry.
Location
The role will be based at The Maxol Group Head Office, IFSC, Dublin 1, and will require extensive travel throughout Ireland.

Qualifications/Experience

Background in the building/construction industry.

Experience in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors.

Extensive knowledge of building and health and safety regulations and their impact on the delivery of construction projects.

Good knowledge of the planning systems and demonstrable experience in achieving successful planning application outcomes and track record in construction with a main or specialist contractor.

Hold a recognised 3rd level qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering. Chartered membership of applicable institution required.

A recognised project management qualification confers advantage.

A clean, full driving license essential.
IT Skills

Experience in the use of computer based Project Management control systems.
