Maxol, former long-time sponsor of Irish amateur boxing, was delighted to learn that Olympic boxing medallists Wayne McCullough and Michael Carruth, the two Irish boxers who won silver and gold respectively at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, will take part in a symbolic handover of the Olympic Torch at the Border on the old Dublin to Newry road at 6.30am on Wednesday, 6th June 2012. The Olympic Torch will be on the island of Ireland for five days from Sunday, June 3rd until Thursday, June 7th.
