In November 2013, Maxol teamed up with Midland Angling to run a competition for free fuel vouchers. To enter the competition participants were asked to e-mail details of their most recent angling adventure, including details of the catch, their details and a good quality photograph of the prized catch. The competition was open to Game, Sea, and Coarse Anglers.
Well done to Eddie McManus of Warrenpoint (pictured below) who was chosen as the winner in Mick Flanagan's angling slot in Sunday World. Eddie banked a cracking pike of 13lbs 8oz from Tumbla Lake near South Armagh. For more information please visit: www.midlandangling.com.
