NEW COMMUNITY INFORMATION BOARD UNVEILED AT MAXOL TEMPLEOGUE

Group 1

Colm Brophy from South Dublin Council, Eddie Devine Maxol Regional Manager, Pamela Kearns from South Dublin Council, Brendan Foley and Tom Byrne, Chairman of Templeogue Village.

On Wednesday 12th March a new community information board was officially unveiled at Maxol's Templeogue Service station located in the heart of Templeogue village in Dublin 6W. Local Maxol Retailer Derek Foley, with support from Maxol, gifted The Templeogue Village Initiative with the information board which will be most welcome in updating the neighbourhood on local news and village development initiatives.

South Dublin Councillors Colm Brophy and Pamela Kearns were both in attendance to show their support for this addition to the local Templeogue community. Speaking on the day, Tom Byrne, Chairman of Templeogue Village Initiative said, "We are greatly indebted to the Foley family and Maxol for sponsoring the provision and erection of our new community notice board. This has been an objective of the Templeogue Village Initiative but could not be achieved out of our limited resources. The notice board is a great communication mechanism for the community and will become a focal point in the village". The new community board is just one example of how Maxol is dedicated to staying true to its commitment to be "at the heart of it" by supporting the local communities in which it operates.

In October 2013, Maxol opened its redeveloped service station in Templeogue. The new Maxol Templeogue with its ultra-modern forecourt, Maxol Mace store and Moreish TM café has transformed the heart of Templeogue village. Customers visiting the station can enjoy generous car parking spaces; seating with free WIFI; deli and Bewleys coffee dock; Maxwash carwash; pay at pump facilities to speed up the purchase of fuel; modern toilet facilities and a new Maxol MACE convenience store to satisfy daily grocery needs.
