This week, Maxol, Irelands' largest family owned fuel and convenience retailer, opened its new service station in Ballincollig, Co. Cork. The project took 22 weeks to complete and includes a Maxol Mace convenience store with a MoreishTM café inside. The service station displays Maxols' new look forecourt, shop signage and logo and the site is equipped with extensive customer parking, brush wash and jet wash centre, in-store ATM machine, modern restroom facilities and pay at pump option.

The Moreish café and seating area provides a new destination for delicious food in Ballincollig, served to eat in or on the go. The Moreish menu offers the Speciality sandwich range consisting of, The Brunch Buster, Turkey Hero, Moreish Club, Crunchy Tuna Club and The Italian Chicken Fresco. At Moreish you can also create your own sandwich with the 'Three Steps to Food Heaven'. Customers create their perfect sandwich, choosing freshly baked bread, a special sauce and their choice of fillings. The Moreish range of fresh and healthy food options includes salad boxes and fresh fruit pots, and the product lines will be extended in the months ahead. Moreish has partnered with Bewley's for its coffee and teas and Moreish at Maxol Ballincollig is the first café with a full Barista coffee offer.

Speaking about the new station, Donal Spillane, Licensee Maxol Ballincollig commented, "my team of staff and I are delighted with our improved offering here at Maxol, Ballincollig.
