Derek, Susan and Brendan Foley with Maxol Templeogue team
Press Release Wednesday 30th October
On Thursday 24th October, Maxol opened its new service station in the heart of Templeogue village in Dublin 6W. Built on the combined sites of a former car dealership and older Maxol station, the new Maxol Templeogue with its ultra-modern forecourt, Maxol Mace store and Moreish TM café is a new village focal point and has transformed its centre. The new station took four months to build and was officially opened by Maxol Group Director Malcom McMullan and CEO Tom Noonan. Proprietor Derek Foley, his family and team of staff welcomed old and new customers to his new business.
Like all of Maxol's new developments, Templeogue service station displays Maxol's colourful new brand and signage. The new station comes as part of The Maxol Group's announcement at the beginning of the year to invest approx. €50million over the next five years developing existing service stations and expanding their forecourt business.
To celebrate the revamped Templeogue site, Maxol ran an online voucher promotion, offering the first 60 customers with a voucher a whooping €0.50 cent off a litre on their fuel throughout the day! This allowed a number of customers to save the maximum €25 on their 50 litre fuel purchase. This promotion resulted in queues onto the forecourt and very busy pumps.
Speaking at the launch, Derek Foley who runs Maxol Templeogue commented, " My Father and I have worked here for the past 22 years and we are delighted to continuously improve on our forecourt offering. We hope old and new customers will benefit from the range of services we are able to provide".
The redeveloped Templeogue site provides customers with a top class forecourt experience which includes: 16 car parking spaces; Moreish café with free WIFI; Bewleys coffee dock;Maxwash carwash; pay at pump facilities to speed up the purchase of fuel;modern toilet facilities and a new Maxol MACE convenience store to satisfy daily grocery needs.
First customer onto the forecourt with Brian Donaldson, Maxol Group Chief Operating Officer.
