THE MAXOL GROUP PRESENTS CHEQUE FOR €65,733

TO MAKE-A-WISH IRELAND

Pictured L-R: Maxol Group Brand Development Manager Fergal Harrington presented a cheque to the value of €65,733 to Susan O’Dwyer, Chief Exeutive, Make-A-Wish Ireland at Maxol Templeogue.

In April 2013 The Maxol Group announced a two year partnership with Make-A-Wish Ireland as their new charity of the year. The aim of the partnership is to support the charitable work of Make-A-Wish Ireland in granting wishes to children between the ages of 3 and 17 years who are living with life threatening medical conditions.

The agreement included the provision of Make-A-Wish collection boxes in over 160 Maxol service stations throughout Ireland. In addition to collection boxes, money was also raised through a "wash for wishes" carwash campaign and coffee promotion where a percentage of sales went directly to Make-A-Wish. Maxol retailers also showed support by selling Make-A-Wish merchandise in-store.

Speaking at the cheque presentation, Susan O'Dwyer said "Make-A-Wish Ireland is delighted with the support by the Maxol Group and its customers over the last year and a half. Maxol retailers and their regional managers have done a great job promoting Make-A-Wish in store. Money raised will help us grant more wishes to children all over Ireland battling life threatening medical conditions".
