Maxol, Northern Ireland’s leading family-owned forecourt and convenience retailer has secured a proud win at the prestigious Neighbourhood Retailer Awards with the Group’s Cherryvalley Service Station in Belfast being awarded Neighbourhood Store of the Year Category 1.

The award was presented to Maxol Cherryvalley Manager, Martin McCann, at the first Neighbourhood Retailer Awards held since 2019, at the Crowne Plaza, Belfast.

The Neighbourhood Retailer Awards showcase the very best of retail in Northern Ireland by celebrating the commitment, dedication and investment of those who work across the industry to continuously raise standards for the customers, colleagues and communities they serve. With over 500 entries received across 21 categories, entries are independently judged by industry specialists, Spotcheck NI.

Site manager, Martin McCann leads a team of 16 dedicated staff who have worked tirelessly, particularly over the last two years, to provide an essential service to the local community. As a result, Maxol Cherryvalley has earned a reputation for excellent customer service coupled with an outstanding range of locally sourced groceries including a high-quality butcher.
