MAXOL INVESTS £35,000 TO REFURBISH SCARVA ROAD SERVICE STATION

Maxol, Northern Ireland’s leading family-owned forecourt and convenience retailer, has completed a significant refurbishment of its Scarva Road service station in Banbridge, Co. Down, with an investment of £35,000 and is delighted to announce the arrival of its new licensee, Mark Nelson.

Mark has over 15 years’ experience in Northern Ireland’s retail industry and for the past 5 years Mark has been the licensee at Maxol Fortwilliam in Belfast. Speaking about the refurbishment and his new appointment, Mark said: “I’m delighted to take on the role of licensee at Maxol Scarva Road and to see the refurbishment completed, ensuring customers enjoy coming into our store for even greater choice, value and convenience.

"Our popular Daily Deli has been upgraded and now provides a wide selection of fresh and tasty hot and cold food, including vegetarian options. Customers will also be able to enjoy a bite to eat or a delicious coffee from our Barista Bar coffee unit.

"I’m really excited to be welcoming customers to the store so as a team we can continue to serve our local community to the highest possible standard.”

Kevin Paterson, Retail Manager NI, Maxol, said: “We are delighted to welcome Mark Nelson as the new licensee at Maxol Scarva Road and I am sure he will bring the same dedication and passion to this role as he has at Maxol Fortwilliam. It is great to see the improvements to Scarva Road following the refurbishment and we are confident that Mark and the team will help us create a first-class customer experience for the local community.

“Maxol has been part of the local community in Northern Ireland for over 100 years and we are delighted to continue investing in our service stations and improving the experience for our customers. It is our aim to have a network of convenience destinations that will continue to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers across Northern Ireland. We wish Mark and his team every success.”
